Said it last week, Kenny got caught sleeping during the waiver deadline. Still seems crazy not one move was made after the trade deadline outside of signing Wise.

My only guess is that we're out of money. Which I think is a reasonable guess. He still probably could've added a serviceable arm for cheap though.

I would think it was more about wanting a player. Money? Probably not.

I dont think were out of money and I dont think Kenny found a good fit to what he was looking for.

I'm left underwhelmed with his acquisition of Liriano tbh

Next year this pitching staff is going to look completely different. Or atleast I think it will.

7 straight retired...Konerko with a terrible at bat.

I don't disagree overall, but he's our third best starter right now.

Looks like the team's ready to give up already on this game.

Take 2 down the middle, swing at the one in the dirt......check

Kenny definitely has a lot of tough decisions to make with the staff. Hopefully they have some money to spend on players, if not....oh boy

Gonna go watch the DNC instead of this. Hopefully we come back in this game

Diamond has found his way.

If they make the playoffs they absolutely should. I see no reason why Jerry wouldnt give the green light.

Complimented with bad at bat by Dunn.

Gooooo Indians bullpen.

Also, the Yankees are falling apart right now. Going to most likely be tied with Baltimore after tonight.

Just checked in to see that Quintana checked out. 7 runs allowed in one inning between him & Axelrod. Wow

Only thing missing that inning was Mackowiak letting a fly ball go over his head.

Ill just say this. I was getting so fed up with Bulls fans this offseason blaming Jerry for the direction they are going in. They always blame it on the White Sox and cry when we made acquisitions(Youk). Basically we were taking their money.

So I just checked the splits for Carroll and Mauer, and it makes things even stranger for why Ventura let Q face Carroll but then pulled him when Mauer was up. Carroll is significantly better vs LHP, and Mauer has been better vs RHP this year.

It sounds as if it was as bad as it can get if we bring up the Mack...

I doubt they cared at that point. They just saw Quintana had nothing left.

If Axelrod only goes 2.1, Quintana is definitely being skipped next time around.

Even if they don't, being close, they might spend the money.

Yep, they should skip Sale vs KC and have it be Liriano, Santiago and Axelrod

Solid effort by Dylan. He's gotta start next go around.
