Game of Your Choice

For me it will have to be one of the games from 2005 WS. Obviously game 4 is up there, but I think I rather go to game 2.

I should have prefaced this with "if you select a White Sox game, include what other non-White Sox game you'd attend." That way we're looking at a larger scope of baseball history, or it just turns into "what's your favorite White Sox game?"

Baseball- Bartman game

Football- Boise State vs Oklahoma in Fiesta Bowl

Also needed to preface it with "baseball" game

Last game at Ebbets Field or Polo Grounds.

Any game with the greats before 1970, someone like Mantle or Ruth. Probably some of those pitchers who threw hard before there was a radar gun.

I'd say maybe Buehrle's perfect game. I was SUPPOSED to go to that game, but the night before, decided not to go. Had I gone, I'd be a part of a very small group of people who saw a NO HITTER and a PERFECT thrown by the same pitcher on different nights (obviously).

Ooh, satchel Paige Vs. Bob Feller...'46 All Star game.

Game 6, 1991 World Series. Second is game 7, 1991 World Series. Third is game 7, 2001 World Series.

I want to see the Sox clinch a post season series at the Cell. I'm not sure but I'd guess the last times time they clinched a post season series in Chicago was when they beat the Cubs in 1906 or 1908 or whenever the hell it was, as I suddenly drawing a blank, though I had it when I started typing this post. Brain fart, I guess.

Sox: The clincher in Houston. No doubt.

Non-White Sox ... The game 6 Fisk/Carbo homer game between the Reds and Red Sox, 75? ... I still think that was the greatest World Series game ever played.

Next: Don Larson

Wait, but didn't Christie Mathewson hook up against Walter Johnson in The series one year? Seems to ring a bell, but I'm too lazy to look it up. Either way, I'd love to see that.

Barry Bonds breaking the home run record. The tension in the stadium when he came to bat to be amazing.

Chris Sale vs. Steven Strasburg in game 1 of the 2012 world series would have been fun.

In all honestly, I was at game 2 of the WS in 2005 so that's obviously unbeatable. Non white sox game...hmm...I got nothing.

Game 6 of the 1906 World Series.

White Sox: Game 2 of 2005 World Series. You guys who were there are so fortunate! I'd go with that instead of game 4 just for the home crowd factor.

Non-White Sox: Game 7 of 1960 World Series (Mazeroski's homer to beat the Yankees).
