The impressive thing there was him getting around and turning around a high inside fastball. That's one of his weaker pitches. Yeah Diamond isn't throwing 99, but still...that's one of the pitches he needs to hit better.

I don't think he could've hit that pitch any better though haha.

But CQ's salary didn't fit into our payroll. The end.

Then again, you can make the argument we shouldn't have resigned Danks (your plan to keep Buehrle)...but still, it was Dayan's time to get an opportunity to play everyday.

Eh...Dayan could have still benefitted from another year in Charlotte given that he had that bad wrist he dealt with all year last year...but bringing him up and letting him learn in the bigs was a reasonable thing to do if you're cutting $25 million+ off of payroll.

Let's end this game here, D-Wise.

Erase the spectre of our bullpen and manager getting a chance to lose from ahead.

You could argue we should have done the same thing with Beckham, were it not for the need to win now and having no other MLB-ready 2B.

Two nice SAC flies by Wise today...c'mon YOUK, a double or homer here would be awesome.

And let's cheer any team playing Baltimore to bring them back to the White Sox and Tigers in the standings.

Beckham was brought up because we didn't have an MLB caliber 3b actually. Once he was up and spent 3 months destroying the ball it seemed crazy to send him down.

Way to go Wizie with Sac Fly but we still need more!

Ask and ye shall receive.

Perdomo and now Swarzak might be seeing their last games in Twins' uniforms.

Kyle Waldrop in to try to stem the bleeding.

My PTC Youk gets an RBI single. We need more and here is Dunn

For a moment I thought I'd stumbled into a Nascar thread.

"Don't pile on. I almost feel sorry for the Twins", said no White Sox fan ever.

Exactly. I really dislike the Twins

Dunn has 2 hits in the same inning...........go figure.

Yeah I love it.

DUNN with a single to LEFT! I love it. His average is climbing too

Except for the Rays series to end the year and facing King Felix, the Orioles have mostly games against BOS and TOR.

Indians go to the top of the 4th trailing 3-0.

Would be nice if the Indians offense could do something....anything.

Edited by BigSqwert

Indians just blew a chance to get a run because of a boneheaded play by the runner at 1st.

Moot point as Choo's bloop scores 2. Tigers up 3-2 now.

Cmon Omogrosso. No walks.

Indians tie game!

You're rooting for the wrong thing. You have to root for the Tigers defense. It's how you score against them.
