I don't know about blaming injuries for Konerko's awful season .Does he look hurt to you guys? He just looks terrible to me, but not hurt.

Yes, he absolutely looks hurt. It's very rare for him to turn on fastballs like he used to. Seems like he jams himself more now than he did in the last few years combined.

Absolutely insane, but it makes sense when you don't have a good LOOGY on your roster.

No one even warming. Ventura asleep?

I don't like this matchup. Sale should not be facing Cabrera....

have to give back at least 1 run, right? isn't that the rule?

Donnie Veal?

oh no THORNTON

Jeeeeeez. Didn't see that coming. Is that like Sale's 1st K since the 3rd or 4th?

But he's not grimacing or limping or nothing. What makes you say he looks hurt? Just because he's playing bad?

Nothing like giving a fastball hitting team a pitcher who only features a fastball.

Sarcasm, as I'm Veal's biggest fan I think

Sox would be six games up if Paulie wasn't injured. Tons of injuries to the team this season. Sad.

Well what's the alternative. He is Jermaine Dye?

His hand/wrist area. Also, someone else posted on this site that they heard that from someone as well.

Sale didn't have his ace stuff, but he battled his ass off to give us 7 strong innings. 3 runs should not be this hard to achieve as it has been the past week.

AJ, how about a home run this inning?

Better be Wise or Johnson for Tank this inning

Indians announcers won't stop crying about the Rios run, saying it SHOULD be 3-1 right now, but the umps blew an easy call. They seem to think De Aza was obviously out at home, not even an argument.....

Is Hawk that bad right now? Was he saying Rios was easily safe at 2nd, or did he at least admit it was a make-up call?

Good job. Good effort.

What an awful time for the offense to become non existent for a solid 7 days or so.

That Joe Smith guy has some wicked movement, holy s***.

Managing is non-existent. What has Viciedo done the last two months to make anyone think he could hit a side-arm righty?

Amazing hitting show that was put on by our 3 hitters

Sox picked a rotten time to forget how to win a game. It really would be nice to claim a comeback win this evening.
