  • Reasons I think Sox are in better position now than a year ago:   - Dunn proved that he didn't forget how to play the game of baseball, meaning his contract wasn't an absolute waste going forward

Does Mike Huff have any relationship with the Sox?

I believe he is head of the White Sox academy.

Peavy's got a lot of movement on his pitches. Hope that exists around the 5th.

Typically fastball movement gets better as the game goes on

Can you blame him for chugging a bottle of whiskey after last night's game?

be nice to see Beckham change his approach with two strikes. Still tries to yank it when he's shown in the past that he can hit it to right.

With the look of those last 10 starts numbers, Shields would have been a nice one to get at the deadline

I know he didn't finish really strong, but Youk has been a godsend. We were in big trouble at 3B without him

Wow,

helluva play

Offense struggling yet again.

It's amazing how quick his offensive skills have deteriorated in terms of batting average. I can't imagine any team paying him 8-12 million a year, but you know he's going to get that kind of money. He'd be nice to bring back at 2 years, 5.5 million per season.

surprised longoria didn't come up hurt. guy's made of glass.

The dreaded fourth inning blues for our starters? Man on second no out.

Great swing by Zobrist

Don't have to throw a strike

Does Alexei speak English?

For a guy who hits for s***, Pena has a sweet swing

Yep, throw a high fastball in a sac fly situation.

Not too much damage, stinks to let them score a run on one hit

meh, you know they were going to score that run. Even with a whiff master like Pena up there.

Unfortunately the Sox get a man on base after 1 out.

Anyone else think we'll be back in a tie for 1st after tomorrow night?
