He needs to use aluminum bats again like he did at UGa

AJ swings at anything. Alexei swings at anything. That type of stuff is long past the point of being cute.

Biggest one in over a month has been AJ. Not just at the plate.

I would not call Alexei's season mediocre.

Disastrous might be more appropriate.

Like Beckham, his defense is what makes me hesitate to see him go away

This is nuts, isn't it? Never seen a team struggle so predictably with RISP. Oh well, this would have been much worse if the Sox were like 6 or 7 up a week ago and still blew it.

Have you been spying on his sex life?

I'm happy getting 71 RBIs (so far) from my gold-glove caliber shortstop. I don't know how you could see his season as disastrous.

How is Peavy feeling right now? How pissed is he.

It is nuts. But I expected that from alexei and gordon.

Game over.

Save yourself the pain guys, just turn off the tv.

Who the hell cares? He needs to keep doing his job and not worry about everyone else.

That's the Peavy we all know and...well, not everyone loves

Peavs losing some velo

Just like to point out the fastball Scott hit out was 88 mph. Hahn and Kenny, don't even think about bringing him back.

...and you let that piece of s*** beat you and take you deep...

I've been watching the Browns game and being more entertained than watching the Sox. Thats how bad it's gotten.

He's been very lucky with men in scoring position, which has of course dried up lately (like everyone else on the team)

and nobody's defense is good enough to make up for a .266/.289/.369

right on cue, Peavy. Can't wait til you're gone, chump.

The only one I bring back on the list you posted yesterday is Youk. Everyone else I think we can replace.

You banking on Youk having a healthy/rebound season, huh?

The problem is our choices are very limited and so are his.
