If Konerko was ever going to hit into a 5-4-3 triple play, this is the situation

That would be a **** my life moment.

  • Reasons I think Sox are in better position now than a year ago:   - Dunn proved that he didn't forget how to play the game of baseball, meaning his contract wasn't an absolute waste going forward

f*** YOU PAULIE. There I said it.

Wow, what a joke. Pathetic, defensive swing by Konerko. Free Dan Johnson!

Eww....Paulie the anti-clutch

but, one gets across

Seriously, what the f*** was that approach? 0-0 count, and you would have thought he was down 0-2 in the count.

Holy s***, you can't make up how.awful this team is. Do something rios.

He's been swinging at the first pitch a lot more than I've ever seen him.

How are they not booing the hell out of this team?

We should try bunting in bases loaded situations from now on. But I don't trust Ventura to get creative like that...

we shoulda benched the hell out of these struggling vets a week ago but I feel like I'm beating a dead horse at this point.

They aren't losing and they are facing a great pitcher. Sometimes great pitchers are more lucky than good.

Every year we find new and inventive ways of struggling at offense. I thought the definition of misery was watching Carlos Lee and Valentin popup against the Twins. God those offenses look like the All Star team compared to this pile of crap.

If Konerko had wrist surgery at the end of May and missed the rest of the season, I don't think the Sox would have been any worse than what's taken place. Dunn's played a great 1B this season, and maybe it would have forced Kenny to go out and get some more offense.

He would have to find a guy who has bunted less than Youk. So expect a Dunn or PK bunt real soon.

There are no words for how mentally toast this team is at the plate.

Just waiting for Greg to come in here and say to blow up the team.

Bases loaded, no outs...we only score one run. We are so good at that it's insane. Shame to see Pauly like this.

Its whitesox baseball once you get past the ASB. The minute the race gets hot, their bats go silent. The minute they are out of it, the bats heat up again.

The inability of this team to hit with RISP isn't just on the players. It has to be on the coaching staff as well. All of this is mental and approach-based. It has little to do with luck now. They've been far too awful for this to be bad luck.

Whenever this team gets runners on, our hitters just don't know what the f*** to do.

The Sox are allergic to winning basetball games. WTF?

Problem is that the two guys pressing the most seem to be our two leaders, Konerko and AJP

Dunn shouldn't bunt but it would be fine with me if PK did. He's not doing anything productive any way

Sometimes you wonder if a Sox pitcher says "f*** hit! These guys aren't hittin for me so I'm gonna get myself out of here and let someone else take over. I'm tired of pitching my ass off for the lackeys"

Remember when Beckhan impersonated Peavy and everybody laughed and loved how loose they were?

Might as well have been ten seasons ago.
