I'm sure its an exit poll question referring to their undecided status prior to actually voting. So far those undecideds have decided 50% each way.

They think he has a good chance in PA. That'd help a lot, especially if he can pull in Florida and maybe Ohio/Michigan. They've been saying all along that their internal polling is more favorable for him. I dunno how to take that really. If I were a campaign manager, I wouldn't fudge the numbers positively, I'd be more negative. "Voters, we're going to lose unless you get to the polls!"

I agree, number 1 rule is generally to under-promise and over-deliver.

 

I get that they think he can win, and there is no problem being optimistic. But its like a White Sox fan in September of 2012 going "Not only are the Sox going to win the division, its not even going to be close." It could happen, but every indicator in the world seems to be trending for Obama.

 

I wouldnt even think an Obama adviser would say that it wont be close.

If the Romney campaign was running on the public polls straight-up, they'd be talking about being a long-shot. Not exactly an enthusiastic message compared to his "expanding the map" smokescreen. Claiming that they're competitive in PA might motivate more Republicans to vote instead of assuming the state is a lost cause.

But Karl Rove's theory is that people like to vote for the winner, so acting like you are going to win will bring in some undecideds.

Why even allow a sign like this in PA? It's only going to add confusion.

 

 

The State of PA itself was sending out flyers with false information saying that an ID was required to vote, as well.

Well, I truly was an undecided voter heading into the poll just now.

I voted for Obama. I'm sick of having to base my decision on who I think is the best of 2 bad candidates. I can't remember the last time I was fired up about a presidential candidate.

But of all the Soxtalker's I think I was the only undecided voter heading into today and I did vote for Obama though I do think he's been a poor leader. Or a very blah leader at best.

 

I think Romney is a scary guy who gives me a weird vibe. He just does. I won't offend the world and say I voted for Obama cause he is a Sox fan and Bears fan, but that is one positive in his corner at least. Romney said nothing during the campaign that made me think he'd be good. Obama I feel ran a poor campaign. He sort of was campainging sort of was President. He didnt seem to care to get any message out IMO.

 

Knowing me as you all do, are u surprised I voted for the Big O today?

Tell you the truth I never even thought of that as I perused the ballot. Interesting concept, though.

Steiner!!! I voted for her. Her platform on education is to make it free through college and forgive all student loans. How could you not love that s***.

I voted for Obama. In the grand scheme of things it probably doesnt matter for me personally, I just think that Romney is more likely to screw middle/lower income people and I really dislike that. I could be wrong, but that is what my heart is telling me.

The polling analysts/aggregators show a strong likelihood of an Obama win.

Will be voting for Gary Johnson soon. I'm hoping he gets about 3%.
