The bigger mistake was the drops by Earl, though.

Drops happen. I've literally ever seen someone actually jumping offside on those plays. Not even in college. Add that to all of the special teams s***. Bad coaching.

This could be a 3 point game right now. The offense just didn't execute when they got close to the end zone today. The defense, as bad as they looked at times today, wasn't that bad.

Bennett dropped two catch-able balls though. The first one was going to be a tough catch, but the second one is going to be caught by at least 90% of NFL wide receivers.

Drop me once, shame on luck

Drop me twice...you f***ing suck

Should have been 6 point game before our defense got back on the field

Kellen Davis makes that play

Cutler trying to channel his inner Tebow magic

Holy crap...that was an incredible throw by Cutler and catch by Jeffrey.

Let's see if Gould has improved his onside kicking

That stupid time out on 4th down is going to end up hurting us.

Despite the terrible drop by Bennett on 4th down and Lance Briggs jumping offsides I am still very pleased with what Jeffrey has been doing.

Close, no cigar

We can still get the ball back with ~40 seconds left.

Interesting bears have been so good at 2 pt conversions.

It's not often you see teams go 3/3.

We have lost on all the finer points of the game and also have come up empty on turnovers. Not a good recipe, but we were competitive till the end. With improvement, we'll be able to beat teams like this

Cutler with his best game of the year...and we're most likely going to lose.

The real question is who would win in a McCown-McCown showdown

Optimism is discouraged here, sir :nono

Alshon Jeffrey with a 218 yard game...first in Bears history.

In a losing effort what new.

Nothing like free garbage time fantasy points huh?

If this team eliminated their bonehead mistakes, they'd be sitting pretty at 4-1.

They do play the Giants on Thursday at home. So I think 4-2 is pretty realistic after next week.

And I do feel good that this was first game defense showed improvement.
