Seemed like every year he was going to get fired.

Will probably go back to be a coordinator.

Who wouldn't want that high flyin Kubiak offense nowadays?!?!

I would still take him. The guy had one bad year, otherwise has had pretty good offenses. He was in the top 10 in points and yards almost every year.

Is it Kubiak's fault that Schaub is Carson Palmer 2.0 or is it Schaub's fault?

Kubiak didn't make Schaub throw those pick 6s.

Not sure. Schaub is kind of a weird case. Palmer at least had a major injury that messed him. Schaub just went from really good to really bad in one season.

Schaub has had a lingering lisfranc issue, but it is still strange how he became Grossman

I think the correct phrase is "overcompensating". His skills starting to go downhill, he knows it, so he starts trying to push things harder and harder.

Since we're on the subject of the Texans...if the season ended right now they'd have the #1 pick.

Associated questions with that statement:

1. Would they pick Clowney?

2. If they did, would any QB ever successfully throw a pass against them again (sarcasm, but get the point)?

3. Would they consider finding a QB and having Clowney drop or trading down a couple spots to find a QB instead?

If I were them I'd trade down.

If they could find an adequate QB option in FA (Cutler?), the thought of Clowney and Watt on the same field at the same time is absolutely terrifying.

I mean, that assumes they can't find a QB in the draft too. But would it be so terrible to go 1 year with McCown from Bears or Cutler on a long term deal? (ooo ooo I know, we'll sign Cutty long term and trade him to Houston for #1 pick, sound good ?!?!?)

I think they'd take Bridgewater.

lol it sounds good, but Houston would never do that. Their first round pick is more valuable than a long term deal with Cutler

I was joking and just living in the hell that is the bears and their need to constantly buy talent because they don't draft well.

The thought of Clowney and Watt on the same team is scary, but you have to get a QB. In this modern NFL if you don't have a QB, you don't win the Super Bowl.

Now if they think they can get a Cutler or someone like him, I would go with Clowney.

Houston is one of the those teams that could be a lot better next year. I feel the same way about Atlanta.

The FA period would be over before the draft, so they'd know whether they'd landed a FA or had a solid trade option before the draft.

The Philly game is just amazing.

Is Bush out?

He's "questionable to play," I doubt you'll see him.

Sigh...

This Philly Detroit game is crazy.

AP just broke.
