I guess I don't get it. He basically proves Flowers will at least be an average offensive catcher and likely more, but he continues to b**** relentlessly that the Sox are making a mistake starting him.

 

I'm sorry, but I'm 100% cool with having a solid defensive catcher who's at least average with the bat for basically the league minimum. Having a cheap option at catcher is one of the main reasons we were able to afford Peavy & Floyd.
