Sox vs Brewers 3/21 spring game thread

Keppinger still hasn't struck out yet in 30 AB's.

That along with his .500 AVG. is pretty impressive, even for S. T.

Looks like he is the #2 hitter.

Dunn drives in Rios with a single off of the fielder. 5-1.

Paulie out on a diving play to end the inning.

Murphy takes Sale Deep. 5-2

It's BACON!!!! 2 run bomb for Gordo.

Well damn...I am at my fiancee's place in Cincinnati and it's choppy, and it's usually choppy in Champaign too on multiple computers. Speedtest.net says I'm good. I dunno, I'll just rely on the Soxtalk PBP haha

Use gameday . It lags behind the video a little but it tells you what each batter does and provides a box score.

7-2 top of 4

.517 now and 2 games in a row with a Beckham HR. Guys must be pumped to have all the regulars in the lineup today.

After 5 Still 7-2 Sox.

Keppinger hit--again

Kepptaculous!

I beleive this is the last Melton game. That's a good thing.

Oh Adam.

Sox win 8-3. 7 good innings from Sale. This will be his last long start until Opening Day, where he'll go 9 innings on 85 pitches.

Sox 11-10 and some ties. 6 left.

Just got back from the game, I really like what I saw from Kepp. Bacon hit the F**k out out of that ball. Braun would have been out on that inside the park HR if Beckham would have made an accurate throw. Sale looked decent, not spectacular. Alexei seemed to be the only guy truly struggling at the plate. Most of the younger guys looked good as well. Typical Thorton scares the crap out of you but finally get's out of the 9th inning to finish it off. Overall I had another great time at Spring Training.

Beckham really turning it on these last few weeks. I'm not holding my breath it will continue into April, but glad to see some progress.
