There's quite a few that need to be cut. I just can't believe they are waiting last minute. Not that it's a big deal, I just like paying attention to the minors.

Apparently the way they are addressing the crowding issue is to make liberal use of the Disabled List. The DL to open the season includes: Leesman, Reckling, Remenowsky, S Rodriguez, Espino, L Anderson, Bell and Tekotte. Yikes.

 

Also a few new names on there, meaning new to the org.

 

And... Gartrell is NOT there.

Some inaccuracies in there. I'm sure Saladino will not be on the bench, for example. And the lower part of the page, those notes are off - players on full season teams now. Stuff like that.

 

Also some misspelled player names. Marin not shown in rotation. A few other things.

White Sox signed OF Stefan Gartrell to a minor league contract.

The 29-year-old hit .251/.335/.452 with 20 home runs and 55 RBI in 122 games last season for the Braves' Triple-A affiliate. He'll act as organizational depth for Chicago.
