Hector looking sharp.

Yeah Hector pitching like a 5th starter. Ugh...

Unless Axe pitches a few perfect games to start the season, this is easily one of Robin's worst personnel decisions. Hector has the stuff and the poise and is a lefty which is always a bonus.

Hector dealing right now. 5K's in 3 IP.

Hector is just mowing down this lineup.

3 perfect innings, 5 Ks. He is just blowing 94 MPH by these guys, and location has been pinpoint. He has thrown 1 bad pitch, a hanging curveball that Aramis hit deep to CF but De Aza handled. Everything else has been a K or weak contact.

Haven't seen much of spring training, but I don't like Beckham's stance. Looks like he's more concerned with just making contact rather than driving the ball. Really is a shell of who he was when he first came up.

Hector looks like an ace out there tonight.

After the first week, I hope they go 6-man during that 20-day stretch with no off days.

Yea but Hector's potential is no secret. Maybe Axe throws a few games and we get something decent for him. Hector can wait.

Why waste games with Axelrod?

For anyone with the baseball package on directV its on Ch 669

To paraphrase Mean Girls Robin/Coop need to stop trying to make Axlerod happen.

Psh, ditch Gavin.

Flowers is going to ground in to a LOT of double plays this year. His swing always looks like he is beating the ball in to the ground.

Santiago is done after 3 perfect innings because, why WOULD you let a reliever go more than 3 innings? Bleehh..

I'm honestly pissed if I'm Santiago. Seems like they don't even want to give him a chance this season

The Juice Man Ryan Braun goes deep off Lindstrom.

He pitched like he wanted to prove a point tonight.

Pretty sure I haven't seen Keppinger show any sort of human emotion thus far this spring...

He's programmed to hit, not to love.

I think we're going to like Keppinger this season. A refreshing change not watching a guy strike out 150-200 times.

A "LETS GO PAULIE" chant now encompassing Miller Park.

Carlos Gomez proving my point about how difficult it is to get accurate defensive metrics on outfielders. 2 deep drives , certainly covered a lot of ground using his speed to get to one but not hang onto it. The other one ,by Dunn, had to be curving away from him so, though Gomez is fast, might have got a decent jump but might not have anticipated or prepared for Dunn hitting it to left of center . So his route looked bad. No errors given but there's no way to know how many outfielders would have caught none , one or both of those balls.
