Things are working out so far in this particular game, but tonight's line-up shows how desperately we need Viciedo on the active roster to add some punch from the RH side.

Otherwise, you're left with only Konerko, Rios and maybe Flowers as your power threats.

Far, far too many pitches already, and can't throw a strike. You keep walking people, they WILL score...c'mon Sale.

Sale walking alot of guys tonight 50 pitches already.

What happened to Sales' control?

Hmmm...

After pushing the bullpen for 4 innings last night, this doesn't bode so well. Hopefully he'll pull out of it. And thankfully they don't have big threats up and down their line-up.

Sale needs to Verlander this game and go 130 pitches...

They actually pulled Verlander pretty early from the game today, I think he was under 100 pitches.

Seem to be some lingering concerns about his "missing" fastball, most of his were in the low 90's and he hasn't been able to reach back in the late innings for the 97-100 MPH heater all season long.

That's 60 pitches through 3. Yikes. Against the Rays.

Guess the Bulls and the Draft sucked everyone away...or the offenses skidding to a halt for both teams.

Oooops...well, Sale's being consistent.

Came into the game with a 4.50 ERA, and his in-game ERA matches it, 2 ER/4 IP.

Really Sale? Lobaton is one of the weaker hitters in baseball. 5 homers in 30 innings for Sale.

Ask and you shall receive

Who the hell was that he just gave up a HR to? C'mon Sale.

I was going to ask how many home runs he has allowed. If you don't throw that 95-98 MPH fastball eventually these hitters are going to catch you at 91

Verlander made an early exit Wednesday against the Royals due to cracked skin on his right thumb.

73 pitches. Just hope he can get at least a few outs in the 6th, or have a very short 5th.

Righties have hit Sale very hard so far this year.

Hellickson making it look easy now. Our hitters not adjusting to the 2 strike change-up.

Hellickson has settled down nicely for the Rays.

Weakest swing ever attempted by Paul Konerko

Ugh, come on McEwing

So close Connor...so close.

Out at home dam.

Flowers with another K.

Flowers is 1-14 with 7 K with RISP this year. 41% K rate against RHP.

That 'gas' from Sale was at 90....nothing on the fastball again?
