That 'gas' from Sale was at 90....nothing on the fastball again?

He was at 93 a few times

Gillaspie didn't have enough of the "will to score."

Or McEwing enough of the "will to stop him."

Hawk whining there made me laugh.

Good inning for Sale!

Who gets DFA'ed first?

Wise, Danks or Tekotte?

It's tough to decide.

Yay! Only 85. He should be able to give them 6, at least. That extra inning will help a lot.

Ugh, come on McEwing

That was two perfect throws

Tekotte, no contest

There wasn't a lot on the 2nd throw by their infielder, but on second thought with Flowers up next, it wasn't a bad gamble. I'm still not sure if Gillaspie has any speed or not.

Wise is hitting .118 though. Make that .111 now.

He's got to be getting close to the end of the line, but MOST managers like Guillen and probably Ventura would prefer to keep the veteran around, unless there's a compelling reason to keep the younger player on the roster.

All three of them aren't very good, but Wise gives you speed off the bench (Tekotte also, but you don't need two guys like that). Having all three of them on the roster is crazy.

The irony (once again with this season) is that Mark Kotsay, with how he's playing now...would actually be more valuable than all 3 of those guys combined.

Never understood Sox bringing Wise back this year.

Considering Danks has options left....

Brandon Short makes more sense on the roster than Tekotte does.

Mitchell even makes more sense, because he could PR and actually has the ability to go yard accidentally...or at least pick up an XB hit.

No, he's been awful this year and brings nothing to the table that Tekotte and Wise can't.

Nice double play!

Sale has recovered nicely the last few innings and has stayed out of deep counts.

Mitchell may never get called up with his terrible numbers.

Potential.

And it would be terribly embarassing if Mitchell, Walker and Hawkins never made it to the majors...our three highest picks over different years.

He back.

He hurt em.

DUNNKEY!
