Comsidering they will get an additional $25 million from the national TV contract, even your exhaggeration could probably be handled.

Sox only hope is to play the free agent game correctly once we get Dunn's money off the books, suck it up and get some name players (younger versions of Youk/AJ, though not necessarily slow on the basepaths) and hope this time they can produce better than Dunn. We've got to go the free agent route and get some good everyday hitters in here to go with our decent pitching. We could use an experienced manager our next go-round in the managerial circus. I think we missed the boat on Francona. I hope they at least let Robin manage as long as he wants to, since he got the short end of the stick talent-wise, compared to Ozzie.

I bet Ozzie would come back if they asked him. How bout a contract that says every time Ozzie says something that a 3 person panel consisting of one fan, one front office executive and one community leader construes as controversial he is fined $100,000? That would shut him up and he could return.

All last season, these games would have been killers, especially the ones against KC. Now, they're just more evidence of a crumbling organization that's being passed while essentially standing still.

 

When you're something like 4-8 in your own division without even facing the Tigers, what do you expect?

Yeah, add me to the list. I'm not invested mentally this year so I don't get mad during the games. I get sarcastic and moody and critical, but not mad. Like you said, what's the point. We have a lousy team. Even today when we are ready for a fairly nice win, what happens? Our incredibly reliable closer finally blows a save. Weird.

Lots of season left to be played fellas. You just have a few guys not contributing much right now. I'm baffled as to why anybody would walk Getz. He literally brings almost nothing to the plate. Royals 11th comeback win already this season, Alex Gordon has been so clutch, if he keeps it up he'll be an All-Star starter.

Seriously, the decision to walk Getz may be the worst in baseball history. I don't even remember the name of the next hitter, but he was a lefty also, who Ommo immediately walked. Gordon then teed off on a drive Rios should have caught despite the fact it was hit pretty darn hard.

But how can the White Sox walk Getz there? Is a force at any base but home that important?? I know this is all second guessing but Robin really looks dumb there considering the way it turned out ... horribly.
