Maybe. I would not however keep anything that has trade value to do the rebuild. Get rid of Peavy, Rios, and whatever has value in the bullpem. The rbuild could be pretty quick if Sale, Quintana, Santiago, and Danks perform as hoped. If they don't there's really no reason to keep Peavy anyway.

I'd trade Sale before Rios right now...

Not the start of the inning I had hoped for with the top of the order coming up.

Ruh Roh

Bad Reed worries too much about the gun and over throws everything. Good Reed takes something off and throws strikes.

Reed can't find the plate

Reed is all over the place. Not sure why Gimenez is setting his target so low.

The Sox are just a team filling out other teams' schedules.

They may win. They may lose. It just doesn't matter. Irrelevant team.

So don't sweat this. Because it doesn't matter.

NEVER the easy way.

I reluctantly agree.

Nice slider.

The Sox aren't going into a total rebuild, but if they were, Sale should be at the top of the list of guys to move.

Throw that same slider again

Barry Bonds

Yeah, I got it. He came up as a CF'er though.

He is the perfect guy to keep for the way they will half ass the "rebuild". Maybe call it a re-tooling.

that's why the walks suck - you bring their best hitter up with a chance to do damage

And Viciedo was a 3B. What's the difference, they both wound up in LF.

Walked butler

Was bound to happen sooner or later.

just go ahead and lose it, Reed. POS.

Well, you knew it had to happen eventually.

If you trade Sale you're saying it's a >5 year project. If done right, it's 2-3 years.
