AR just terrible tonight.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 14, 2013 -> 03:42 AM)
Sox better get used to the basement in AL central they will be there awhile.

If the Twins find some pitching, then I would tend to agree with you. Twins having maybe 2 of the 3 best hitting prospects in baseball really allow them to focus on acquiring pitching going forward. They're almost the opposite of the Sox in this way.

Come on Hicks hit Hr #3 tonight what the hell.

It's hard to even be fun bad when you have to listen to Hawk. He hasn't said one thing tonight I haven't heard him say 50 times.

Sox arrow pointing way South.

ADA called him off. lol. That's why Ramirez bailed out.

That play wasn't his fault. He clearly heard an outfielder calling him off.

This team could use an off day

As Hawk just said, "right now, we're just not a good team"

We should all be thankful Ventura didn't sign an extension and this is PK's final season under contract.

When it's like this, tough to blame anyone because you really have to blame everyone. Just gotta brave the storm and hopefully we turn things around shortly. I know we can start playing better defense as soon as heads get out of asses. The hitting may or may not happen, but we don't have to give up runs by not communicating and BS like that.

Heath take some more time the DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD SUCKS.

Every Twin but Willingham has a hit tonight.

Supposedly they are looking at pitching with the 4th pick this year. Appel and Gray will obviously be gone, but Kohl Stewart could be a real nice consolation prize. Ace upside but further away obviously. The Twins farm system has restocked nicely as you noted. Buxton and Sano are drool-worthy prospects. As far as pitchers, Kyle Gibson is legit and close to the Bigs. Alexy Meyer could be real good. Berrios looks great but is far away. Trevor May is interesting too.

This team needs a pitcher vs position player brawl. Ramirez will run away to avoid contact and PK will just stand with a stupid look on his face saying, "guys. Stop, guys. Stop."

White Sox season in a nutshell.

That's statue worthy outside the Cell.

Whee!

I'm pretty sure the Sox suck so much that Joxer has just given up on baseball.

Well, we're officially first in the AL with errors as well as worst fielding percentage now.

Heath is great.

While we touted all those rookies in the pen last year, most of them haven't lasted.

Reed's the only one looking good. Along with Quintana, Axelrod and Santiago.

Nate Jones has struggled, Septimo's injured, Heath is going back to the minors, Omogrosso hasn't looked good, Veal back to the minors, Marinez has disappeared....as it turns out, we might just have been REALLY lucky to get such big contributions from so many unexpected places last year.

THE BULLPEN ROOKIES.

Jones might not even last this entire season. We'll see.

We kept saying how we were the first team to be in first place with 11 different rookie pitchers or whatever the number was...well, most of them aren't a factor any longer.
