Wise is sneaky with his hot streaks. He won us quite a few games last year with his bat when we first brought him back.

 

I like him & DeAza batting back to back right now. Those 2 certainly have the ability to manufacture some quick runs, especially against righties.

I too am a fan of of having the #9 hitter carry some speed. Before Alexei got bumped up to the 2 spot I had always wished RV would put him 9th. Same goes for Beckham when he gets back. Back to back speed = potential for runs. Back to back to back speed = runs.

 

Yea if Wise goes on one of his mini hot streaks, he & DeAza could take some pressure off the middle by giving them some easier RBI situations.
