Gillaspie is a solid player, but on a good team he's likely a 7 or 8 hitter. For what we gave up for him, it was a great acquisition.

All in all, a very good first year. Great job by the Sox getting guys like Quintana and Axelrod from other organizations.

No, you need to try and hit the ball hard. He did, but just right at the left fielder.

Nice agility Keppinger, ha. Quintana's offspeed pitches are horrendous today.

I've seen Keppinger play a lot in his career, and he was never this much of a stiff. You have to wonder how much the injury in the offseason has impacted him physically.

We don't need outs we need hits and Conor is one of the few hitting the ball hard consistently and if you want to advance the runner with an out ,bunt. I'd rather not risk the DP .Ideally yes pull the ball and try to get it in the hole since the infielders are shaded up the middle. Unproductive outs are the norm not the exception.
