We know his season should be A LOT better than what it is.

He battles. He does not give up. That's good enough for me too

 

What does that even mean? He doesn't start throwing BP pitches and losing on purpose? He's walked 5 guys and gotten 4 double plays. He's been lucky. Most of the time, those are going to be hits and runs. He isn't good, he's been passable because he's been lucky. Why do we give him credit for trying? Of course he's trying. He's battling to be a rich Major Leaguer.

WTF, Santiago is starting on Sunday and he's pitching today (and pitched last night)? The Sox do know he's young and has potential and it's a 40 year old Terry Mulholland?

 

In reality shouldn't Axelrod and Santiago be switching roles?

 

Axelrod is a nice piece that should be able to be a poor man's Jessie Crain, can throw an inning or two every day and if it does not work out, so be it.

 

Santiago came up with potential and then was jerked around so often he has lost most of the luster he used to have. Is he a closer, spot starter, starter, loogy, one inning guy, who knows, not the White Sox.

 

This is kind of what I see happening to Gillespie now with Keppinger and Beckham are playing.

 

The flaws of this organization are really starting to show.

Crain is one of the better relievers in the game at the setup position.

Crain has very overwhelming STUFF....One of the better hooks out the pen in the game & an above average fastball.
