White Sox draft thread: Day Three

I'll bet it is someone from the White Sox academy again

This Ro Coleman is from Simeon Career Academy, and I see in Round 33 the Mariners drafted Corey Ray from Simeon Academy.

Notice one has Career in the name of Academy and the other does not. Anyone know the difference in the schools? I assume Ray is from the one that has the good baseball and basketball teams year in and year out.

Stringer and Engel are both in action right now on ESPN (Engel) and ESPNU (Stringer).

Danny Hayes will be playing tonight at 9pm on ESPN.

Edited by 2nd_city_saint787

Stringer jacked another HR. Two straight games w/ a HR. Engel is due up next for Louisville.

They're all from the same Simeon. 3 kids from that school were drafted, which is quite sad considering they were a good, not great team this spring.

Stringer just went yard again! 3 HRs in the last 2 games! (Only 1 all year)

Umm....so Christian Stringer just hit went yard AGAIN!

2 HR today, 1 yesterday. He only had 1 HR all season, he now has 3 HR in his last 5 or 6 ABs.

Big First basemen Hayes for Oregon St with a RBI Double his first AB

Just looked up his stats.

Not too hot.

But I want him to get good just for the jersey.

Throne is actually a guy worth keeping an eye on. Mid-90's FB, hammer curve. Control issues, but that 1-2 punch of pitches could make him effective out of the bullpen.
