Castro was comfortably above 90 the first two innings he threw for us. I almost wonder if underuse is the issue

I'm not so sure. This is typical Sox baseball. Look like crap almost all year, only to show up against the 1st place Tigers like they couldn't do last year, but they're already out of contention, so it doesn't really matter except to the Tigers who may wind up losing the division because they can't beat the last place White Sox this year.

 

I say Axelrod goes 7 innings, gives up 2 runs on 8 hits (two solo HR's to Cabrera and Hunter), with 8 K's.
