Peavy (rib) reinstated from DL and will start Saturday against the Braves.

He has sore ribs after Saturday's start, but that won't stop Jake Peavy - http://shawurl.com/os5

No kidding.

Ahh, you have to be honest about this stuff...you can't trade him and then have him show up to his new team and be like "i don't know if I can start with all this soreness I have been experiencing."

Now we know why the trade hasn't happened yet.

He would have to pass a physical, right?

Not always. I'm sure if someone is trading for him, they will want to see the latest the Sox have, and it obviously is pretty recent, but he was touching 94 on Sunday which I doubt he could do if his rib was still broken.
