Aug. 15th Game thread vs Twins

Featured Replies

Conor has been pretty solid this season.

May not be a everyday 3rd baseman, but I would def not mind him sticking around as a player off the bench.

Is Swisher the guy that Hawk is talking about being someone that wasn't a great guy?

Maybe Albert Belle ?

First 3 that popped in my head were

Swisher

Myers

Jenks

The way Hawk was talking, it sure seemed like it was someone who's still active in baseball.

Hawk played in the 60s and 70s. You'd think he'd be more understanding of guys snorting up in the clubhouse.

If it is Swisher that Hawk is referring to, I'm sure it's due to how much Swisher pouted towards the end of 2008.

He looked out on first glance

Poor Rienzo. That was an impressive throw by Garcia.

I'm not sure pouting would make you a bad guy. Sounds like he meant just a bad person.

Nope looks safe.

What a cannon though.

Bad job by Phegley of blocking the plate there, but in a game that means nothing, I'm happy he didn't get hurt.

Why is Troncoso still in this organization?

This result is almost foreordained from the get-go.

Umps got goose s*** in his eyes?

To get us a better draft pick

Nice try by Phegley

God....what a mess with our catching/defense all season long.

Just no way you go into 2014 with him as ur starter...you can't.

Sox a pitiful 3-9 against the middling Twins this year. Yikes. Close to 3-10. Draft positioning.

Oh darn!!

no surprise there!

Oh darn!!

It's really perfect. Good starting pitching and bad releivers blow it.

Yep, hopefully Beckham's ok. Garcia looked decent tonight at the plate
