Sox playing an evening game on Saturday in Chicago versus the Tribe and being broadcast on WGN. Maybe Sale is pitching?

Unless they shuffle the rotation, Sunday will be Sale.

Oh well. I was thinking 4 days rest and Saturday would be the day for Chris to pitch. Or did we go to a six-man rotation?

With the addition of Johnson and in an effort to limit Santiago's innings the rest of the way, they are doing a six man the rest of the year.

But, we are still in it!

Wouldn't it just be easier if we had a catch-all out of town tv game thread?

I like these threads.

As a life long and career Sox fan I will continue to report Sox games on TV until I don't. Thanks! :gosoxretro: :bringit

I wasn't referring to you.

I wasn't trying to be a trouble maker, I was just suggesting that instead of a thread for each game on TV for the out of market fans (like myself) maybe just have one thread and bump it.

I never understood the purpose of these threads....just print out/look up the schedule from the Sox site, listed on every game is what station it will be on. Doesn't make a difference if your in town or out of town...

I don't know. I think it's nice to give the out of town people a heads up. When you only get to see maybe one game a week it's easy to forget about it with our busy lives so it's nice to have a reminder. Also, many of the Fox/ESPN games aren't always listed on the schedule. I think all of us in market folks take it for granted that we can just turn on the tv every night and have the Sox on. If you don't like the threads, just don't open them.

Pretty much anything on Soxtalk could be found somewhere else. I think it is nice that these threads are done here. it sure doesn't hurt anything.

and neither would a catch all thread....

That's pretty much why I started doing these threads. Soxtalk fans come to this site for info. They want to know what's happening and Sox games on the telly for out of town fans is news. :gosoxretro:

With that reasoning all things Soxtalk could be put under one giant catch-all thread" :)

Don't let the dean of catch-alls see that...

I wonder if JR tried to get today's game rescheduled to night game so he would have a legit excuse not to watch.

Except the station that is airing the game is not noted on the schedule on the Sox site. You have to click each individual game to see what station they are on.

Printout or download the PDF, has the station on each game.

+1

We ditched cable until the Walking Dead (no to the Sox) returns. We still get WGN. I still can't justify spending $10 to watch the Sox on mlb.com for the rest of the season. That's why I'm not as pissed off as many of you. Ignorance is bliss.

I like them, but I'm one of the out of towners.

Sadly, I saw this one and thought I think I'll go see a movie or something instead. :crying
