No, this move was made with the intention of Paulino starting. The Sox have indicated they expect him ready for day 1, but he had a set back in his rehab last year, so it may be closer to May 1st. Either way, I think this move is more of an indication that the Sox plan on moving Santiago/Danks/Quintana or starting Johnson in the minors rather than any sort of effect on the bullpen.
