BTW, defensive positioning for both Kinsler and Cabrera were horrible

Ugh, why are you pitching to Cabrera with an open base? Quintana struggling to get that 3rd out.

Such a Twins-like lead the Tigers have gained so far today

He slapped a good pitch low and away right to where the 2B should have been playing. Silly to blame that run on choosing to not walk a guy in the 3rd inning.

Theme of year so far.

When facing Scherzer, you can't give them cheap runs like this with bad defense and dumb strategy.

Beckham is slow.

Nice AB by jose making the adjustment low and away but got blown away with a 94mph heater down the middle.

Well, that can't be right. Unless it doesn't account for pitches thrown OUT of that zone, because Abreu's 2nd HR in Colorado was on a pitch up and away that he blasted over the RCF wall.

All that started with 2 outs.

It's Miguel Cabrera...I wouldn't advocate pitching around anyone else besides him in the 3rd inning, even Trout. In that situation, he's just such a tough out.

If you can't pitch to him in the 3rd inning of a 1-1 game with 2 outs and a 1-1 count then you're pretty much never going to feel comfortable pitching to him.

If he was walked and the next batter hit a HR this site would have (rightfully) roasted Ventura

Tank keeps on rolling.

The chart indicates he's hitting .500 up and away.

Tank leading the league if average against RH's.. Who would of thunk that

for f*** sakes alexei make the adjustment

Well I want to roast Robin for that stupid shift against Cabrera. He is too good of a hitter to give him that big of a hole to hit the ball

The same shift saved a single up the middle in game 1.

Cmon Alexei

That's a much more legitimate argument/complaint

Pathetic Alexei.. Was never close to the plate

With how awful the Tigers bullpen is, gotta keep working Scherzer's pitch count. Getting him out after 6 would be huge.

Certainly not Robin Ventura based on the first few games of the season.

De Aza with the walk...lets see what Gordon can do

Wow, putting guy on 1st w/ 2 outs.

Almost not fair for Gordon to have to face Max first game back.
