Avi should be playing tonight!!

Avi should be playing tonight!!

And Lindstrom to pitch.

Brian Clark has been pretty good so far:

23 IP, 5 BB, 26 SO, 1 HR

I liked that pick quite a lot, though obviously he should be good at this level. Hopefully it continues tonight.

Honestly, that whole pitching staff of the 2014 draftees in Great Falls have been pitching pretty damn well.

From the BA Hot Sheet, Matt Davidson "Not-So Hot"

Matt Davidson, 3b, White Sox. Triple-A Charlotte’s third baseman hit safely in one of his 25 at-bats this past week, but at least it was an RBI single. If the .040 batting average wasn’t bad enough, he struck out in 40 percent of his at-bats since last Friday. Davidson, who saw time last season in the big leagues with the Diamondbacks, will fight in the coming weeks to get back above the Mendoza Line.

Snodgress- 1 inning of relief, 2 k's

Recchia hit around. 6 earned in 5 IP.

Carlos Sanchez leaves game with leg injury, replaced by Micah Johnson.

Garcia whiffs on a 2-2 pitch, three swinging strikes.

Lindstrom pitched 1 inning gave up a HBP ,walk, double play and RBI single.

Offense in the system has been quiet tonight.

Michael Taylor second home run in 2 days

Matt Davidson swinging the invisible bat again.

Johnson walked 3 guys in the 4th. Just shut him down already.

Of late, he's been starting strong and then just hitting the wall. Maybe try him as a reliever to gain some confidence?

two at bats, two swinging Ks for Avi.

It's spring training in August.

It is going to take him some time

What would that accomplish?

Running a vindictive farm system isn't going to help the Sox in the long run.

At this point I think there's a strong possibility he's suffering from some kind of injury.

Eno Sarris had a piece on Verlander potentially being injured that sounds a lot like Johnson. "His delivery, velocity, and command are flagging in a way that looks like an injured pitcher." http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/justin-verl...-is-he-injured/

Garcia got a hit

Michael Taylor 2-2, home run, walk.

Dykstra had a nice start, 2 runs and 1 earned over 6 with 6K and 0BB. Did give up 10 hits, but 9 were singles.

Avi starting off with 2 K's but his last 2 AB's he got 2 hits. Nice!

0-0 game in the 13th. That's tough to do.
