Sept 7 game thread vs Indians

Featured Replies

Hope we get some offense together for game 3. I don't want to be swept

Carroll......

Runner at third and Wilkins K's. So far I have not been impressed. Maybe it's just the major league competition and he needs to adjust but so far he has not shown much. Maybe if he gets that first hit?

I can't imagine the TV ratings for this game. Meanwhile, the offense has disappeared. The Indians are going to be tough in coming years thanks to their young starting pitching

Sox will be lucky to score today.

Yay! ANDY

Viciedo down on three pitches...... sigh

It's frustrating that JorDanks is getting at bats. They need to find a way to get Semien into the lineup every game.

Damn.. missed Wilkins first ML hit.

Damn.. if Sanchez hit that at the cell, it's a homerun.

All and all Scott hasn't pitched all that bad

Seemingly one of the worst offensive series for the Sox in a long time

Aside from a bomb every once in a while, what good is viciedo? Terrible at bat. Slams his bat on strike two. LOL. What a train wreck.

In the 8th inning of game 3 of the series, they have given up 6 runs all series, yet look like they will get swept.

How are they going to sell more than 5,000 season tickets for next year? The culture of losing has engulfed the South Side.

LOL. Francona can't think 2 moves ahead. Tskes the bat right out of Brantley's hands.

Wilkins is Dunn-like defensively at 1B.

What a disgusting series. Sox obviously have quit. Very sad to see this proud organization in such a pathetic state.

Hahn has an unbelievable amount of work to do to get this roster close to contention-caliber. It's been an extremely disappointing second half of the season.

They gave up 7 runs in 3 games. These minor league call ups are showing why they were in the minor leagues. Offense is tough to come by vs. teams that really need to win right now as a good portion of the White Sox line up is overmatched.

There are so many bad players and so many weak areas, you said it all.

Dear Bears and Sox,

Good job, good effort. Good job, good effort.

And if they keep this manager who will have lost 99 games and c. 90, they will have ratified that loyalty, hero-worshiping and howling at the moon (we are still in it!!!) are more important making serious efforts toward winning.

Luckily most fans are far more sophisticated and realize it isn't the manager's fault they are losing thses games.
