Good job by Abreu in drawing a walk; ump didn't ring him up. Nice.

Nice takeout slide by JorDanks

Thank goodness Avi is pretty fast. That's an easy DP ball for most hitters.

We need a Tyler Flowers pinch hit home run.

I wonder if Tank will be a star with the Orioles or somebody next year.

Has Conor ever walked off? I'd love to see that Moises Sierra aftermath...

It's possible, but you can't fault the Sox if he does

I think he'll end up being a star in our division. Maybe a .270, 35 HR hitter for KC for a decade.

You kind of can. He's still 25 (or 26, I'm not entirely sure) and had a stellar 2012 hitting-wise. I think we can afford to give him one more year.

TANK

Holy s***!

Tank probably just earned a starting job next year with that blast. That was a BOMB.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!

Some cheap homers tonight.

I truly believe Viciedo should be back next year, as this team needs as much power as it can get.

Just great ABs by Tank and Abreu in the 9th inning. They saw over 20 pitches between the two of them in the 9th.

Like somebody said on this board recently: This is the most exciting bad team in Sox history.

Cuban Patience - the key to success!!

You are probably right. It would be nice if he could take that next step and become consistent. No doubt he has some talent offensively. Don't know if he can ever become consistent.

Nice to see a lefty closer against our righty hitters. They can't throw that junk in the dirt from the right side that our boys sometimes chase for whiffs.

As one of the biggest Viciedo supporters here, this one feels great. I really do hope he's a 1B/DH/LF platoon or something next year.

Edited by Jose Abreu

Step 1: acquire left handed bat to play left

Step 2: move Tank to DH/backup 1B and corner OF

Step 3: profit

Viciedo has 21 HRs this year, but if you translate it with everyday ABs, he'd have 24/25

As it stands, he's tied for 18th in the AL

Exactly. If he could hit 260/310/420, I would be happy. He's got 21 HRs and 58 RBIs in not everyday at bats.
