Robin really sounded impressed by Surkamp during last September. I wouldn't be shocked to see him as the second lefty, while they look for a closer type righty out of the pen.

Yea I think Surkamp is best choice as the second lefty but I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on the guy to see if he can make the decision tough in ST.

I would be shocked if they didn't bring in another cheap lefty, I just don't see them signing someone who makes a decent paycheck for the role.

exactly and for me, 2016 fa RP does not impress me much.

I'd love to sign Alexi Ogando on a 1 or 2 year deal. He had some arm trouble last season but was apparently healthy enough to pitch in winter ball. He also pitched better than his numbers indicate last season.

I'm sure Medlen would like a 1-year deal to regain his contractual value. Let's sign him for 1 year, then flip him midseason for prospects.

I know this gets said around here a lot, but if the White Sox are selling at the deadline this year, there has been a lot that has gone wrong for this franchise. We should not be hoping for this outcome whatsoever.

it was an unrealistic rtn for what the sox were trying to trade, or should

i say the quality of the person being traded.

I could totally see a scenario where they're looking to move Alexei at the deadline this year and would listen to offers on a few other guys as well.

It's Medlen.

It's Medlen.

This board just can't seem to spell RHP names right.

i am no less or no more of a Sox fan than anyone else on this board, with that said.

i really have this unrealistic belief that the sox will do really good in 2015. with that,

i believe the sox will listen to offer for Alexei now and at next yr deadline. for now, its

up to how big of a rtn does the other team want to sacrifice. at the deadline, how

well has Anderson develop and how well is the projected backup doing.
