I just keep hoping it's not a serious personal/family issue, a drug suspension or season-ending injury.
May 2, 201510 yr *sorry bad link, fixing, will put here momentarily* Filed under things I didn't think I'd be saying if you asked me at any time last year... with Wilkins gone and Dan Black playing the way he is, at this point, should Abreu or LaRoche miss time with injury (PLEASE NO), I'd say Black would probably be the guy to come up.

I wouldn't. I'd bet on Sanchez getting the call up, with Conor going to 1B, and Gordo to 3B.
May 3, 201510 yr I realize the Sox as an organization have an enduring love for veteran utility players, to let Bonifacio block Sanchez would be beyond belief. Should Gillespie and Micah be doing some occasional outfield work anyway?

He's not got great hands, his arm isn't that good and the elbow has already had issues before.
