I would not be trying to trade Kane as all he did was have sex with a starf***er. He's a point per game or better player about to enter his prime.

Yep, but if the Hawks win the cup again with him on the roster it will be, "SOO glad we never traded Kane," again.

I'd rather not win a cup than have a rapist on my favorite team.

Might want to burn those Hawks sweaters now if you already convicted Kane of rape.

I don't think anyone wants a "rapist" on the team.

He wouldn't be the first Hawks player or player from any of our favorite teams to be a serial philanderer, though.

If the Hawks do trade Kane, I would like to see a sportswriter ask McDonough why Bobby Hull is so proudly paraded around given his history?

Theres a pretty nice statue of one right outside the stadium.

I wish the worst thing Bobby Hull did was that.

My eyes are open to the possibility, unlike some.

Hull is a loudmouthed dirtbag.

More than one, in fact. And others around town.

The Hawks need to quietly part ways with Hull. He's not a good look for them.

i understand the visual of that..... but there are a lot worst things hockey players have done or rumored to have done.

i do not condone what his actions toward his wife / wives. but i will not stand and judge him.

btw... thanks for the info.

according to the times and other rumors sites, 5 teams have express interest in Kane and have contacted the hawks for their updates and intentions.

any rumors on what team they are talking about.

Devil's advocate -

Let's say the girl in question is making it up. What did Kane do wrong? Have a one night stand?

I'm not defending him, either. I think the way athletes and entertainers use women is pretty bad. It's also really dumb for them to put themselves in a situation where they might be accused of something by someone they don't really know. But, I don't think one night stands are uncommon in sports, so I don't see why the Hawks would have a higher standard for Kane in this regard than they would for any of his teammates.

the higher standard is a $$$ Bill edict and has carry on down to the sons. the hawks have a extremely high standard esp in pr for signing autograph for fans, talking to fans and wear hawks logo stuff from hats to sweaters to jackets.

to the hawks, i imo it is the image that they pride themselves on.

ref bold, it takes 2 to tango and women who knowing goes with the players for the 1 nite stand ..... what does that say of them???

Nothing wrong with either side in terms of a 1 night stand. There is something wrong if the woman (or man) doesn't want to partake.

What hockey players have done worse than beating their wife & being an alcoholic?

Naturally, this didn’t sit well with Raanta, and he spoke about it to Finnish paper Satakunnan Kansa with stunning candor: The Chicago Blackhawks goalie was rooting against the Chicago Blackhawks in the playoffs.

From reader Ju Pa, via Iltasanomat.fi (currently down):

“I was really hoping Nashville would beat us in four games and I could get back to Finland. I was [so pissed off] about how Chicago was treating me.”

According to Raanta, Blackhawks were suffering of weak team spirit and head coach Joel Quenneville didn't seem to like him.

“I noticed that coach didn't like me, in that position it is pretty difficult to fight the windmills,” Raanta said

well thats a good teammate. Enjoy your ring, Raanta

That translation is pretty awesome.

I assumed the windmills part was a Don Quixote reference, but I'm not sure even that makes sense in the context of what he was saying.

Ha, it seemed like a completely normal thing to say until you pointed it out.
