Avi, Avi and Flowers............................our future

@ckamka: Avisail Garcia went 46 straight games without homering, but has since hit 4 HR in last 6 games

Since the All-Star break the Sox have an OPS over .800 now.

Pre-All Star break we were dead last in the majors at an OPS of .649.

I'd let Sale finish this inning and then let the bullpen cover the last two.

There's no need for him to go the 8th and/or 9th when there are fresh arms available.

Pen has this now. Good game fellas. At least they're not dogging it like Iglesias in Detroit.

What happened with Iglesias?

What happened with Iglesias?

They were just talking about it on our broadcast. He did run a play out and McCann, the catcher, called him out and Iglesias shoved him.

What happened with Iglesias?

Apparently he didn't hustle on three different plays, and the catcher McCann and outfielder Gose called him out on it in the dugout.

I didn't hear the three different plays. He's young and it will be corrected.

Hey LaDunn, yea want to get an RBI yet?

Stone talked about it earlier in the game.

I missed that part. I heard him say something but I thought it was one play. Whelp that's what you want from your team. Guys getting on players for not hustling.

I wish I had money like Jordan Belfort. I'd pay LaRoche to leave with my own money.

If LaRoche is in any way, shape or form going to be part of the equation next year, he simply can never face a lefty. Ever!

It just didn't look right what Iglesias was doing out there. Very bad body language, which usually I don't care about but he made a really strange throwing motion/gesture on a possible double play ball (basically ole'd the throw to 1st and ended up doing this half pocketing / throwing of the ball towards the pitcher) and then later in the inning he pulled up and didn't dive on what looked like a catchable (for him anyways) ball up the middle.

When they came into the dugout McCann said something to him probably like "hey wtf" and Iglesias went all hot head and started pushing and shoving.

Iglesias is a good player but it was correct for McCann to call him out IMO.

So if Avi could finish around 280/320/420 that would be great. At least show some flashes, something Viciedo never managed over a full season.

They have a chance to get Sale out of there with 97 pitches. Will they?

another dumb F****** base running play.

Then Melky holding his eye like a 5 year old trying to deflect attention from his stupid play.

Um take Sale out please. Game is in hand

Didn't see a close up but maybe he got hit in the face on the tag.

Avi has a lot more ability and potential than Tank ever did.
