If its nice outside I recommend taking your kids to Cantigny park where they have old tanks and whatnot for kids to climb on. My nephews love that place.

Morton Arborteum is fun too. The children's garden is just outstanding. Treehouses, play areas, etc.

Don't go to Legoland during the early part of the day on the weekend. Way too crowded. If you do decide to go to Legoland, look for coupons at any Subway. Should be able to get a buy 1, get 1 free.

Thats the one, I saw it when I was going to Carrabas (an awful experience)

The train restaurant in Downers for sure. Went there all the time as a kid. Live pretty close to it still
