Cubs are easy team to really dislike

Cubs are easy team to really dislike

Why, because they're really good or because their fans suck?

At least that one wasn't because of their joke of a ballpark

Hendricks already done.

Maddon living by the "3rd time through the order" numbers. Hendricks looked decent in the 4th

In all seriousness, the Cubs can't just get swept.

That wouldn't be as interesting or painful as losing it all in the 6th or 7th game of the series. Doesn't fit into the whole Cub Folklore storyline...that's why 2007/08 losses aren't mentioned as much, compared to 1945, 1969, Brant Brown, Bartman/2003 and Leon Durham/1984.

deGrom really likes his fastball.

With Hammel tomorrow this might be a big workload for the next two days for the bullpen.

Edited by OmarComing25

Shouldn't there be a former Sox pitching for the Cubs in the post-season jinx as well?

deGrom allowed just 2 HR this season on fastballs located on the outer third of the plate or off the plate away. He's allowed 2 tonight...

Trevor Cahill warming up now.

If Wright gets going....look out.

I bet Hammel pulls an outing out of his a** tomorrow.

Crap.

Perfect hop for Bryant there. Mets awful with RISP

In all seriousness, just stop

DP?

Well, you just knew it wasn't go to be THAT easy to just expect an XB hit there.

For those who've asked, considering rain possibly on way: Postseason games can no longer be rain-shortened. Eventually played to completion.

Funny to see national media applauding Castro's defense and turn at 2B. Neighborhood play?

Does Baez ever not swing for the fences? Just watching his violent swing tires me out.

Marc Carig@MarcCarig

@MarcCarig @AdamRubinESPN @jareddiamond @SteveGelbs rains a coming #LGM 40 miles out 30-45 mins https://t.co/CX7peYwKsA

Third time through now against deGrom. He’s at 75 pitches. 50-50 raffle up to $33,537, btw.

Javier Uribe.

Javier Uribe.

Who?

1-2-3 inning.

Mets need to score here and take the advantage into a possible rain delay...AND get their bullpen ready to go.

Cahill in.

Who?

Juan Uribe always swung for the fences.

The player we're talking about is named Javier Baez.

"Javier Uribe"

What is it you guys always say? "Are you sure you're a White Sox fan?"
