While I want the Sox to build a contender now, I'd hate for them to deplete the farm system yet again for a guy that looked to be on the decline at the end of last year. December 7, 201510 yr It is weird how we have Robertson (ultra elite), Abreu (ultra elite) Sale and Q (ultra elite) and yet our team blows. (I can't put Melky in elite cause I'm a Melky/hater). We have a weird dynamic going on during the Robin-era.

Like you said, there are a few guys that are absolutely elite and then the rest are terrible.

If I were a fan of another team and I looked at the Sox roster, outside of the obvious proven (not counting prospects) ones (Sale, Quintana, Rodon, Abreu, Eaton), I wouldn't want anyone else on that roster.
