Nobody get hurt.

Melky got shaken up making a catch at the wall. Sounds ok though.

4/5 in the rotation looks like it's going to be a major issue. Hopefully Fulmer just dominates the minors and Johnson finds his fastball again.

Avi homer

He's had a pretty good spring. Should be getting a ton of at bats

It would be delicious crow if he puts six good months together, with passable defense.

Man if Avi can hit this lineup will benefit so much. With him pulling more he should run into 20 HRs.

Ok Danks wasn't that bad. Didn't see the score just seen he was giving up runs.

I think most of his playing time comes from dh. Sox really need him to produce and hopefully he will.

@CST_soxvan John Danks through five innings: 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 2 K.

Michalczewski double, and Anderson RBI. 3-2 Sox, top 6.

So Avi, Abreu, Saladino and Davidson all lead the spring training Sox with 5 HR's.

Sox take 3-2 lead after Trey double an error and a single by Timmy Anderson.

He'll be in the OF often . It's not like Melky is great out there either. Avi is faster and has just as good of an arm if not better than Melky though both have strong arms.Rotating the DH duties keep guys fresher.

Anderson with a couple hits off Guthrie

Ground rule double for Hector Sanchez. 4-2. Sox will surely need him this year.

RBI for Jacob May. 5-2. He could make it up this year.

2-run double for Ishikawa. 7-2.

Trey M double, Sands single, Avi single

9-2. Ha. Ok, we get it.

17-13-1 spring training. Doesn't mean anything, but I think they had a decent ST, except for the one issue--and even that's a positive if you ask me.

He could even get to the point where he hits OR defends, and most would be happy.

Their first winning record since 2004. If nothing else, it is a positive mental thing.

It gives a team who hasn't been good in awhile something positive to take into the season. It can't hurt certainly.

Agree and with a bunch of new faces that should be a positive.
