The other names are likely unrealistic for a number of different reasons.

Sometimes I wonder how much James Shields would cost.

Are you hinting something based on your twitter conversation with White Sox Dave?

Really think it's a mistake to make any major trades until this team proves it can start winning again.

Williams' trades over the last decade hurt because they did not help the team. He has consistently used Sox assets poorly.

As for Rios, we got a utility infielder for him.....Rios had better numbers at the time of the trade than several guys that people want to trade serious prospects for today.

None of the prospects he traded never amounted to anything anyways besides one, Gio Gonzalez.

Unless Brian backs it up, I have zero faith in White Sox Dave. This is the same guy who bet his reputation that Cespedes and the White Sox had finalized a deal this winter, like four times.

And with Shields' age, contract, and declining performance, I wouldn't give up anything of value for him.

New guy here!

Maybe it is time to start thinking about how this team will be sellers instead of buyers? This is a bad baseball team that played one good month of baseball. There are way too many holes to fill and not enough pieces in the farm to get it done.

-catcher tandem needs an upgrade- dfa Avila and let him go play for his Dad

-ss needs an upgrade- Rollins is toast and Saladino is the textbook definition of a utility player

-Cf needs an upgrade- Austin Jackson is a 4th OF at best

-DH needs an upgrade- Hahn's golden boy is not good and never will be

-Bullpen is a complete wasteland outside of Robertson and Jones. If Albers, Duke, and Jennings were released would anyone else even bother to pick them up?

-3rd, 4th, and 5th starters are shaky and and another arm is needed there.

There is no possible way that all these holes can be addressed during the season. Way to go Hahn and KW. The Sox are bringing a rusty Red Ryder bb gun to a shootout where everyone else has a Colt 45 or Magnum 44.
