May 30, 20169 yr Someone at another Sox site figured this out. Unbelievable. On Friday, when the Sox led 5-1 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 6th, they had a 93.8% chance of winning the game. On Saturday, when the Sox led 7-1 with 1 out in the bottom of the 9th, they had a 99.9% chance of winning the game. On Sunday, when the Sox led 4-2 with 1 out in the bottom of the 8th, they had an 88.4% chance of winning the game. The probability of losing all 3 of those games is .0007%, or about 1 in 142,857. Simply incredible....and pathetic. Mark

May 30, 20169 yr http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/team/_/stat/p...nded/order/true White Sox now tied for 2nd in bullpen blown saves in the majors to the terribad Reds' pen. Interestingly, Seattle, Baltimore, the Dodgers and Rangers are all pretty close. Looks like the mean is around 5-6 at this point in the season. Edited May 30, 20169 yr by caulfield12
May 30, 20169 yr Author QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ May 29, 2016 -> 07:03 PM) Anymore threads of negativity? I can't say, depends if they ever decide to start winning actual baseball games again. Mark
May 30, 20169 yr QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 30, 2016 -> 02:18 AM) No team better at grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory than the Sox. It sure seems that way. At 23-10 it was so refreshing. Night after night we could celebrate wins and normal baseball. What do our new guys think of this crap?? Avila, Jackson, Rollins, Lawrie, Frazier ... We're losing games in every which way. It's really embarrassing. No way in hell I was going to even watch today's game much less go to it in person. Some asshole called me when we led 4-2 in the eighth and I said I'm not watching or listening. The guy said, "Why?" I said, "Why put yourself through something like that (what was about to happen)?" Then I go to church and ask the guy next to me if the Royals pulled that thing out again and he said yeah. f***ing amazing. Thanks White Sox for forcing your fans to go into a corner and put their hands over their eyes cause they know what's coming. f***ing chokers. These relief pitchers are dogs***, every one of 'em cept maybe Robertson.
