I know we somehow won last night but have you noticed Sox have cured the Royals' hitting slump? They hadn't been hitting at all.

What's with all these Royals fans at the Cell? Embarrassing.

Good point. Now today we are slumping

The bunt was not bad. It advanced two runners. Melky does not hit Duffy very well. But, Garcia didn't have his head in the game

Some managers never bunt. Bunting is always bad.

All because we bunted in the first inning...

It's a shame that bunt cost them all 3 outs in the inning.

Royals were smart enough to put Duffy back in the starting rotation. He'll dominate this division for years. Teams like the Sox can't hit a guy like Duffy.

Duffy in a groove now. Looking pretty sad.

I thought Duffy was pitching Sunday. Did Royals pitch him today cause they knew he'd end the losing streak? Smart move. Q might have beaten whatever stiff they were going to pitch. It's possible anyway.

We're 2-5 a lousy KC team this year

Royals had five home runs in last nine games, lol.

Duffy has the lowest opponent ERA at USCF, 1.5ish. Cris Carpenter of StL, second.

Seems Cabrera was bunting on his own, but you don't want to put the bat in Frazier's hands right now, even though Melky doesn't hit that well as a RHB.

Coats still doesn't have a hit. Avi with some bad baserunning. Clock is ticking.

Quintana has something like only 0-1 run scored for him in 5 consecutive. That hasn't happened since 1993 in the majors.

Two fly ball homers probably would have been outs 90% of the time if not for the weather conditions.

I think we get him in the bottom of the 6th

Yeah, yesterday was the first time in a week they scored more than 1.

Chris Young was originally scheduled to pitch, but he was passed over...Ventura tmrw.

Quintana had only surrendered two homers all year, two more today. Bad luck, as they should have been outs but they still count.

Avi, Navarro and Lawrie look like s*** today

Meh would have rather had one of our better hitters swing. 20 at bats isn't much of a sample size.

Coats looks like he has a decent eye but needs to pull the trigger before he has 2 strikes

Damn, a manager who was working matchups. Knew we'd give them their ninth loss in a row so they switch to Duffy. they just didn't take the L for granted and did something about it against their rival. Sad we don't shoiw such fight.

Great start by Q

Hitters haven't realized he's throwing almost all off speed pitches now

OR strike out the three batters

Just not the Sox day today.

Every time Sox have great crowd they can't seem to score, let alone win.

I'm really tired of Frazier. He's just the newest iteration of Thome, Dunn, LaReoche, and yet another tool whom I really want to go away.

They just look bad. Swinging at s*** and taking good pitches to hit, same story as our offense the past 10 years.

How many times do we have to face a pitcher?

Just hitting a foul ball is a victory today. Disgraceful effort. 2-6 vs. Royals. Again that's a fireable offense.

That was pretty embarassing right there. Looked like an over matched little league team.

Ned Yost gets credit for today's win. Moving Duffy up to silence the Sox before they think they can play with KC.

Horrendous approach the last few innings. They are so easy to pitch against
