He forgot how to hit the 2nd half of last year in Cincinnati. And we thought it a good time to give up 3 prospects to get his declining arse over here.

The Indians were having so many problems with Shaw, there was lots of buzz (see Albers 2-3 weeks ago) about pulling him from the 8th inning set-up duties...but they simply don't have a capable replacement.

 

He gave up a huge homer to Salvador Perez last series to cost them a game.

 

 

Nate Jones and Indians' closer Cody Allen both warming up.
