  1. I like Kancey too. Van Ness has really intrigued me though. I don't care for the free agent DEs. Davenport is worth a shot and if he ever stays healthy he has big upside. I like Yannick but not as your #1 guy. I'd love Hargrave. Van Ness-Hargrave-2R-Yannick
  2. What do we think about Van Ness? He's getting some top 10 love after blowing up the combine.
  3. Ooof, I probably should have checked that before posting. Lol. Point remains. Who is their rookie QB throwing to next year? Ol dude they got from the Jags is their best WR and right now he would probably be the #4 WR on the Bears. The WR draft class sucks as does the free agent market. They could be bad bad.
  4. Also.... Panthers are more than likely gonna suck next year. I don't think any of the 4 QBs are gonna be that good in year 1, they don't have a 2nd round pick to add to their bad offense without Moore and McCaffery. I would not be surprised if they are a top 5 team next year. If Justin is not the guy, they very well could have 2 high picks and be set up for one of the 2 stud QBs next year.
  5. I thought a wild card push was possible, now I kinda expect it, and the division should be possible. LT is gonna be the biggest mystery to me. I really do like Braxton Jones and I really think if he puts in the work in the gym, he can be the answer....Brown both intrigues and scares me. He's definitely not what they look for but the talent is obviously there....Then there's Skoronski who I just love, but is arm length reallllly an issue at LT?... Paris Johnson intrigues me as well, but is 9 too high?....Taylor, McGlinchey, and the ATL guy are RTs.
  6. Bears are only +300 to win the North next year.... Thought it'd be much higher. If Rodgers leaves, this division is wideeeee open.
  7. When do future bets start for the NFL? I'm already drinking the kool-aid. I know Moore is under contract for 3 more years, but I think Poles is gonna try to win this year.
  8. We all know the Panthers QB situation sucked but here are some alarming advanced stats..... Catchable Target Rate- Percentage of total targets that were catchable. Moore- 64.4%.. 90th in the NFL Target Accuracy- grades the Accuracy of each throw on a scale of 1-10. Ratings over 8.0 are afforded highly accurate targets and those below 7.0 are relatively inaccurate Moore- 6.3... 97th in the NFL Idk how much stock to put into those, but my goodness does that sound bad.
  9. DJ Moore is 12th in receiving yards the last 3 years. 11th among WRs(Kelce).
  10. I love it! I know there was a lot of talk about 3 number 1s, but I'm not sure what else you get with that. This 2 1sts, 2 2nds, and a guy who is absolutely a number 1.
  11. Took a dive into the RBs.... Honestly, let's just keep Chase Brown in Illinois. He checks all the boxes and they more than likely won't have to spend an early round pick on him. He had a really good combine to back up his stats but I still think you can get him in the 4th or maybe even the 5th.
  12. I was really starting to want Barkley, so I'm pretty bummed he got tagged. I really think a good pass catching back will help Justin and the offense. Aaron Jones might be a cap casualty and if he hits the market, that's my guy. Haven't really looked at the RBs in the draft yet.
  13. Bears have talked to a handful of guys who are definitely 3-4 rush LBs. I wonder if we might see them use a LB spot like the Eagles did with Reddick. Eagles pretty much ran a 5-2 with the way the used Reddick, and I would not be surprised if that becomes more of a trend.
  14. The thought of adding a premier player in any trade intrigues me with the bust ability of some prospects. The Beast mentioned trading down with Indy and picking up a player, but I'm not sure you're getting Buckner and picking up a 1st next year. What about a deeper dive to 11 for Simmons/#11/#41/24 1R? Grab Skoronski at 11 and Avila, who can play OC at 41.
  15. Calijah Kancey, DT from Pitt, ran the fastest ever 40 time for a DT. He beat out Aaron Donald, also from Pitt. Dudes gonna be a stud.
  16. Both are nice, but I'm just saying neither are "Generational talents." If this was next year I think the returns would be larger. Side note, I'm really starting to fall for the DT outta Pitt. Early on I remember mocks having him going in the 2R but I don't think there's a shot that happens. I can see him going top 15 and I would not mind him being a Bear depending on how far they fall.
  17. Ehhhh, maybe suck isn't the right word. I just don't think it's good. There's no sure thing at the top like there should be next year. I've now seen drafts with Richardson at #1 too. I've seen all 4 up there and idk if that's a good or a bad thing.
  18. Just the Bears luck. They get the 1st overall pick and the QB class sucks limiting what they can get in a trade and the top defensive player did this. Be really interesting to see what goes on with him. I've heard some people saying Tyree Wilson is right up there with Will Anderson so I guess that's a plus.
  19. Payne got franchised. That makes me a sad panda. Makes me wanna stay in the top 4 that much more after kinda being open to falling lower. They need an impact player on that DL. I like still like Hargreaves and the guy from Denver though.
  20. Bears are hiring Luke Steckel from the Titans as part of the offensive line staff. Steckel interviewed for the Chargers OC job this year, so it sounds like a pretty good hire. Good to have a guy like that in house. If the offense goes off next year Getsy probably gets a head coach job.
  21. I think my scenario would be trading back into the teens and taking JSN. Love the idea on paper, but man if he's not an impact guy it could spell the end of a lot of people.
  22. Really good fit here with what they do. Woods/Mooney/Claypool/Kmet good enough though? Orrrrrr do they Barkley too? I really really wanna see them get the RBs more involved in the passing game.
  23. Fields mentioned wanting JSN in the draft. Really hope they get creative and make it happen. Get 4 and 35 from Indy then trade up using future picks to make it happen. I like JSN a lot a lot. If he wasn't hurt last year I really think he'd be in the conversation at #4. Especially after the success Wilson and Olave had last year.
  24. She said she doesn't think teams are allowed. She didn't hear from the Padres either. She said she had multiple interviews with MLB, Friday is just the next interview.
  25. Yup. I would also sign Payne and Powers as well. CB isn't a huge need, but I love Ringo and couldn't pass on him at 54. Bears secondary could be one of the best in the NFL.
