It did my heart good to hear the "Detroit Sucks" chant in the 4th quarter.

Oh yes... a little of the UC coming out in Soldier Field.

Or more like Comiskey Park and Chicago Stadium.

Bears placed LG Chris Williams on injured reserve with a fractured and dislocated wrist, ending his season.

Per Rotoworld.

No big surprise there after needing emergency surgery. Ugh. Just when the O-line is looking decent again.

This is hopefully where we'll find out that Carimi is ready to play on Sunday.

Depends on how bad it actually was...it was described as arthroscopic surgery, if it was just cleaning up a little bit, then maybe the recovery could be short.

I kind of doubt his recovery time will be a week when his initial recovery time from a dislocated kneecap was 2-4 weeks, and here we are 7 weeks later and he still hasnt made it back. The bears arent going to rush him back

The Chicago Bears signed defensive end Chauncey Davis to a two-year contract Monday and waived defensive end Nick Reed after announcing that left guard Chris Williams will go on season-ending injured reserve with a wrist injury.

"Very similar to what (Brian Urlacher) went through (in 2009). It’s unfortunate," coach Lovie Smith said of Williams' injury. "Chris is a tough guy, made it through the half, could tell something was wrong, but didn’t know it was that. But again, he’ll be back in time."

Said Bears center Roberto Garza: "Chris has been doing a great job of stepping in and being a leader on the offensive line. It's a tough loss for us but obviously somebody has to step up and Edwin (Williams) did that during the game (Sunday against the Lions). I thought he came into the game and did a good job."

Davis appeared in 96 games (25 starts) over six seasons (2005-10) with the Atlanta Falcons after entering the NFL as a fourth-round draft selection (128th overall) in 2005.

He recorded 204 tackles with 10 sacks, two interceptions, eight fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles for Atlanta, including two touchdowns: 26-yard interception return and 24-yard fumble return.

Reed appeared in seven games for the Bears this season, recording 11 tackles and one pass breakup. In 23 career games with the Bears and Seahawks, Reed had 19 tackles, one sack, three pass breakups and a 79-yard fumble return touchdown.

I watched the game on Fox Sports Mexico and one of the broadcasters took issue with the personal foul issued against Briggs, he said "what's Briggs suppossed to do there?Say to Johnson, hello Mr Calvin Johnson, I'm Lance Briggs, would you kindly permit me to wrap my arms around you and gently lay you on othe ground?Thank you."That's a BS call, it was a good clean hit and this is NFL football.

That cracked me up...Briggs gets a PF and Fairley driving Cutler into the ground and Suh trying to rip Cutler's head off go unpenalized, not to mention Stafford's dirty play.

f*** Detroit.

I'm pretty sure Fairley did get flagged for excessive roughness.

Matt Cassel has a throwing hand injury and his season is in jeopardy.

excessive roughness, lol. that sounds funny

Andrew Luck, huh?

Do the Colts entertain offers on Peyton, then?

There are two definites. If Peyton Manning is healthy, he should obviously be playing, and Andrew Luck should not sit on a bench somewhere for four years.

I tell you what, the Jets would probably mortgage about 3 season's worth of 1st rounders for the instant title consideration they'd have by acquiring Peyton Manning.

I'm thinking the Colts might also want to trade that #1 pick. Trading Andruw Luck away should get them major value.

The Colts have already said if they have a chance to pick Luck, they are keeping him.

Wow.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Schaub's injury is of the Lisfranc variety, meaning he's done for the year if it's a fracture. A Lisfranc sprain is an injury he could potentially return from before season's end, although it's probably unlikely.

If that is the case...then I think it winds up we'll see what the trade value of "Peyton Manning" is.

Matt Schaub has a hand injury too?

Foot injury for Schaub.

Yesterday was a bad day to be a QB named "Matt".
