April 23, 200520 yr Author My guess is trade down, but I don't know if the right combination is there when the Bears select. You know damn well they want to move down a bit. It also looks as if Aaron Rodgers will be there when the Bears select. My hope is that the Skins like Rodgers and move up to grab him. Supposedly they lake Cambell at 25, but maybe they think Rodgers is the better of the bunch.

I just turned on NFL Network, and they were talking about the fourth pick -- it seems that Lovie Smith is in love with Cedric Benson, and Jerry Angelo is in love with Mike Williams. From the looks of things, it seems that the Bears like... Williams > Edwards Benson > Brown > Caddy.

April 23, 200520 yr Please just say no to Benson! Thomas Jones is a better player than guys like B. Wade or Gage. Mike Williams would have been the number 1 pick if he played last season.
April 23, 200520 yr Every single person is predicting Benson. That would be about 5 spots too high to take someone who got really beat up in college. Mike Williams is a difference maker, Benson is an average NFL running back if you ask me.
April 23, 200520 yr I don't know if I like Benson yet...I see too much of Ricky Williams in him... And I really don't like that we didn't pick Williams, unless Angelo knows of a trade.. I really am hoping we get Nugent.
April 23, 200520 yr I hate the pick i was really hoping for Mike Williams and if not him than Derrick Johnson..... but comparing him to Ricky Williams is unfair. He wont go to India and start smoking weed on us.
