Reading about the choir group in WA who held rehearsal March 10. 45 out of 121 became infected and two of them are deceased. Pretty sobering.

I am actually more concerned about the second wave when people and business are anxious to return to normalcy. However right now is bad enough and care is required. I should be more thankful that I can dive into my cyber Network and shake a few shekels out to get by.

Offseason 2019-2020 MLB Catch All Thread
The present 2020 draft proposal would consist of five rounds and a 100K limit on upfront bonus money with the remainder deferred over two years. This would lead to prospects sitting out the draft and waiting for next year. Related issue would be getting another year of school eligibility. First comment is that MLBPA is not looking out for future members in this situation.

Wait I just read a Twump where it was suggested the lockdown will be used as a political strategy by the blues. I hope not. Now it is being discussed whether hospitals end up issuing DNR orders for CV customers. Tough choices are looming. Wonder if any seniors will step up to ease the burden.

My eyes were opened just a wee bit after reading that business interests were lobbying against the Defense Production Act followed by TX Lt Gov Dan Patrick, who seemed to suggest that seniors 'take a chance on survival' to get the country and economy moving and back to normal. He fears that we are losing our way of life to 'stay at home' orders and other such measures. Even host Tucker Carlson was a bit shocked.
