He will get his chances for sure. He was mostly brought up as a backup since McCann deserves to play. Castillo might be ready soon. -

Collins could get 3-4 games a week with that versatility. -
If we get lucky with Vaughn things could get serious in a hurry. Definitely sign a good SP for next year.

Collins will get his chances and we should not discourage him. Crazy but Robert sounds like a potential Mays or Mantle at least right now.

Considering our sketchy record of acquiring or developing talent I would lock up the guy already in our lineup. Someby else will likely overpay when he hits the market. Meanwhile Collins will get a chance to learn under James.

Collins is just a body who is filing a spot and waiting for a chance to play. Not worthy of a poster on your ceiling.
