Who would still want Maddon?
Cub needs new window. Ricky go home.

Who would still want Maddon?
Our guy could play Walter Matthieu in Bad News Bears. Joe is ok.

Yolmer contemplates not being on the Sox
Million plus would be his range but many of us would rather watch Mendick. Ironic that we could have really used Avi at a fair price to man up in RF.

The juiced ball
You are close to correct. The manufacturing process was upgraded. Not sure if there was a devious plan. Things change. There is less resistance mlb has said.

TA and Yoan have combined for 8.5 fWAR: is this the best young double play combo in Sox history?
Luis was a top glove but not overly strong bat. He put the go in Go-Go-Sox .

Eloy named player of the week
I know people will say that but we are not playing in the world series yet. Check the vid.

Eloy named player of the week
Eloy looks comfortable most of the time but just don't let him jump into any walls. Would love to see him run around RF for a few games which I think he prefers.

Eloy named player of the week
Several Sox players reaching the marks of excellence this season. We must build on this core and continue upgrading. I look for half of next year's squad to be new faces.

9/15- Sox at Mariners, 3:10
Ricky was asked about the home plate call and said no. Then apparently everyone walked away.

9/15- Sox at Mariners, 3:10
YESTERDAY GAME: SEATTLE — Major League Baseball has expressed “regret” over a miscommunication that resulted in a 2-1 loss for the Chicago White Sox against the Seattle Mariners on Saturday night. Seattle’s Omar Narvaez hit a ball off the top of the wall in the bottom of the 10th inning that was ruled a home run by umpires. The ball did not clear the fence, and had a replay review been conducted, Narvaez would have been awarded a double and the game would have continued tied at 1. “In last night’s game there was conversation between the umpires and the White Sox as to the procedure for potentially reviewing two different aspects of the game-ending play,” MLB said in a statement Sunday. “There was then a misinterpretation regarding Chicago’s desire to have any aspect of the play reviewed. We regret that this miscommunication resulted in not reviewing the home run call on the field.”

Did anyone get Rick's story on the Narvaez HR.

Did the umps put their headphones on. Did not see from the highlights what happened.

SEATTLE -- A White Sox team pondering its rotation for 2020 and beyond received some clarity Saturday night after Dylan Cease’s encouraging start at T-Mobile Park, though their one-for-one trade last Nov. 30 was at the center of the outcome. Mariners catcher Omar Narvaez lifted a walk-off homer off White Sox reliever Alex Colomé (the player Narvaez was traded for in November) in the 10th inning on a play that ended in confusion. The ball off Narvaez’s bat appeared to bounce off the exterior of the fence and back into play, but officials ruled that it was a homer, and the White Sox opted not to challenge if the ball cleared the wall, or if Narvaez touched home plate as he was mobbed by Seattle teammates.

The end of game alleged HR was not reviewed. The umps talked and walked off the field.

I thought end of game close plays were automatically reviewed. No one was minding the store or the Sox bench. I do not understand.

Collins and Narvaez in the same game. Catchers who can't catch.

The Free Agent I want to sign more than any other
Rikki says we are ready to win next year. Full stop. I also expect Joe G and Dombrowski would not work with a budget-minded org.

Reinsdorf assures Ron that Abreu will always be a White Sox
I could see 2x12 plus option. Wondering how JDM player option works with a trade and affects his value.

Jose at times has no sense at all about low breaking balls. I wonder about his vision.

If you look at the money they wasted Avi was worth keeping. Certainly.

Cubs thread 2k19
Wondering if you could build a lineup around Gleybar Soler Eloy and Lamaiheu. Just a thought.
